Birmingham extended their lead at the top of the League One table on Tuesday night

Birmingham City owner Tom Wagner has once again issued a message to supporters after Blues saw off Bolton Wanderers at St Andrew's @ Knighthead Park on Tuesday night.

Chris Davies' side returned to winning ways with a convincing 3-1 away success at Lincoln City on Saturday, before backing up that victory with yet another dominant performance against Ian Evatt's men in B9.

And, as Blues fans have come to expect with an ownership group as open as Wagner's firm, Knighthead, the American businessman was active on his Instagram profile post-match to share his latest message after the club's unbeaten home run in B9 continued.

Wagner's communication with Bluenoses ever since the completion of his takeover back in July 2023 has been one of several key facets as to how the atmosphere surrounding the club has transformed in such a short period of time.

The 55-year-old has been known to take to social media post-match, which was once again an occurrence after Davies' men recorded their ninth win in 11 league outings, which has been achieved for the first time in the club's history.

Across the 90 minutes, Davies' side once again showed their mentality and quality in equal measure against the Whites, with Luke Southwood called into action on several occasions.

“I thought it was one of our better performances, definitely,” the 39-year-old stated via Birmingham Live. “There was a period in the first half which was one of our strongest periods. We had a relentlessness about us today."

“We spoke before the game that they’re a good team at this level, one of the better teams. They were play-off finalists last year and they’ll be up there again, in and around it, I’m sure. It was about pressing intensity, hard work, running, chasing and we did that."
