Kerolin up for January’s WSL Player of the Month | OneFootball

Kerolin has received a nomination for January’s Barclays Women’s Super League Player of the Month award.

It represents the first time she has been in contention for the prize since her January 2025 switch to City and it follows a fantastic 31-day period for the Brazil international who scored twice is as many top-flight outings.

Her displays helped Andrée Jeglertz’s side to league wins over Everton and London City which extended our winning streak to 12 straight WSL matches ahead of February.

Kerolin began the month with a brilliant solo goal in our 2-0 triumph against the Toffees at the Joie Stadium.

After collecting the ball just outside the box, she skipped past Maz Pacheco down the right, she arrived into the box to covert from an acute angle ahead of Vivianne Miedema’s strike after half-time.

Kerolin and Shaw nominated for January PFA award

In our following top-flight assignment, against London City Lionesses, Kerolin again broke the deadlock when she collected a precise Vivianne Miedema pass to race clear of the defence and calmly dispatch in an eventual 2-1 triumph.

Since January’s conclusion she continued her fine form into February by netting a hat-trick in our memorable 5-1 win over Chelsea and her tally for the season currently stands at seven goals in eight outings in 2025/26.
