Kluivert claims Premier League Player of the Month award | OneFootball

Bournemouth midfielder Justin Kluivert has won the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for January 2025.

Kluivert scored five times and added two assists in four appearances for the Cherries. No player was involved in more goals (7) throughout the month with the 25-year-old crucial to a strong run of form for Andoni Iraola’s side.

His goals included a hat-trick in a 4-1 win at Newcastle United. It was a second treble of the season for Kluivert, after netting three penalties during Bournemouth’s win over Wolves in December.

He is the first Dutchman since Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk in December 2018 to win the award and the eighth overall. Kluivert is also in the running for January’s Goal of the Month award.

Incredibly, all six Player of the Month winners in 2024/25 have come from different clubs.
