According to Express.de, Köln have received a timely boost before the Rheinderby, with Said El Mala, Jakub Kamiński and Florian Kainz back in team training on Thursday.
The session took place two days before Saturday’s meeting with Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The showdown at RheinEnergieStadion carries extra weight for Köln, who have not won any of their last six matches in all competitions.
They head into the game 14th in the table, just one point clear of the relegation zone.
It has been suggested that head coach Lukas Kwasniok could face the sack if he fails to deliver a derby victory.
