Tottenham Hotspur will lock horns with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Sunday as they hope to secure a positive result on the road in the Premier League. Spurs suffered a dismal 3-0 loss at the hands of Nottingham Forest before the international break, so they would be keen on bouncing back by putting in a good showing in midweek.
Robert De Zerbi will opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few changes to his first team for this game. Randal Kolo Muani, Destiny Udogie and Joao Palhinha could all play from the start of this clash.
Antonin Kinsky will operate in goal for the North London club as he looks to keep a clean sheet this weekend. Cristian Romero will play alongside Micky van de Ven at the centre of the Tottenham backline as they focus on keeping the opposition at bay throughout the game.
Pedro Porro will fill in as the right-back once again, while Destiny Udogie gets a chance to shine on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to perform their defensive duties well before looking to offer support to their teammates in the final third.
Kevin Danso will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Joao Palhinha will anchor the midfield along with Archie Gray as they try to make life tough for the home team in the middle of the park.
The talented trio of Mathys Tel, Xavi Simons and Randal Kolo Muani will operate just ahead of them as part of Tottenham’s attack. All three of them need to move the ball well if Spurs want to orchestrate enough chances to win this game this weekend.
Pape Matar Sarr is a slight concern ahead of this game, but should be fit enough to start on the bench.
Richarlison will spearhead Tottenham‘s attack up top. He has to find a way to cause a few headaches for the Sunderland centre-backs during the 90 minutes.
Dominic Solanke will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the final quarter if needed.
