Kompany and Olise voted Bundesliga coach and player of the season by the VDV

Vincent Kompany has been voted Bundesliga coach of the season by the VDV, with Michael Olise topping the players' poll.

According to BuLi News, Kompany secured 71.8% of the vote, finishing ahead of Mainz's Urs Fischer on 6.4% and Freiburg's Julian Schuster on 5.5%.

Olise received 71.8% in the player vote, ahead of teammate Harry Kane on 23.9%.

In the newcomers category, RB Leipzig's Yan Diomande led with 30.6%, edging Lennart Karl on 20.7%, with 1.FC Köln's Said El Mala third on 17.1%.

VDV's Team of the Season includes Manuel Neuer in goal on 19.7%, a back three of Jonathan Tah 41.8%, Dayot Upamecano 48.4%, and Nico Schlotterbeck 52.5%.
