Since his €22.5 million transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers, the Portuguese midfielder has barely featured and, according to various reports, fears for his chances of participating in the World Cup squad. Silva or Guirassy: Who will prevail?

Silva’s future in Dortmund is reportedly closely tied to Serhou Guirassy’s situation. Should the striker activate his release clause this summer, which is said to be €50 million for top European clubs, Silva sees good prospects for more playing time. However, if Guirassy stays, Silva is apparently leaning towards a transfer – especially since the 29-year-old has ruled out leaving in the winter.
