Kylian Mbappé injury update before Real Madrid’s trip to Man City | OneFootball

An update on the wellbeing of Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has come to the fore on Sunday.

And the news will no doubt be met with widespread excitement on the part of the Blancos faithful.

Frontman Mbappé has of course spent the last couple of weeks on the sidelines, owing to a knee injury suffered late in February.

The Frenchman has in turn been forced to sit out a number of Real Madrid’s most recent fixtures. This includes a 3-0 drubbing of Manchester City in the Champions League earlier this week.

If the latest word stemming from the media on Sunday is anything to go by, though, then Mbappé could well be ready to play his part in the tie’s return leg at The Etihad.

As per a report from Blancos insider Miguel Ángel Díaz of COPE:

‘Mbappé has completed training and, unless something unexpected happens, will travel to Manchester.’
