Former Arsenal youth player Kyran Thompson has signed for Tottenham Hotspur, according to the Daily Mail journalist Isaan Khan.

The 16-year-old prodigy joined the Gunners from West Ham United in a £1.1 million deal in 2024.

Spurs were keen on Thompson at the time before he opted for Arsenal. However, he is now set to join them.

Manchester City were also keen on Thompson, while Newcastle United were recently linked. Manchester United and Liverpool also had the teenage sensation on their radar.

Spurs have won the race, and he will hope to force his way into first-team manager Roberto De Zerbi’s plans.

They have signed six players already this summer and are eyeing more deals.

Mateus Fernandes, Sandro Tonali, Martin Dubravka, Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson and Jan Paul van Hecke have all joined the club.

More signings at senior and youth levels are on the cards, and Spurs will hope to hit the ground running when the 2026-27 season starts.

Everyone at the club is desperate to put last season’s woes behind them after they were almost relegated.

They will eye a return to European football at the end of next term, and De Zerbi is being backed in the transfer window.
