Everything worth knowing about coming to the stadium on Thursday

European football is back at the Red Bull Arena! This Thursday 6 August, we welcome Pafos FC for the first leg of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League. Kick-off is at 19:00 CEST.

We've compiled everything you need to know for your visit to the stadium here.

Tickets

  1. Individual tickets are available online in our ticket shop.

  1. NEW: NFC ticketing for all Apple users! In cooperation with Apple and Team Axess, we've introduced NFC ticketing for the new season, turning your iPhone and Apple Watch into your ticket – including your season ticket! All tickets can be saved directly to your Apple Wallet and used contactlessly at the stadium entrance – details can be found HERE. Android users can save their tickets to their Wallet as usual and scan the QR code at the stadium entrance.
  1. Has something come up at the last minute? You have the opportunity, as always, to share tickets with friends, family or acquaintances, with the details on that below.
  1. For any questions or assistance with our digital ticketing system, our Ticket Info Points on the west and east sides of the Red Bull Arena will be open from 16:00 on matchday. Please note that the Ticket Info Point East is now located in Tower L near the Bullshop. Our Ticketing & Service Center team is available from 10:00 to kick-off and for half an hour after the final whistle.

Travel

As always, we recommend making the most of the (free) public transport offering!

  1. BY CAR/SHUTTLE The stadium car park opens from 07:00 but tends to fill up well ahead of kick-off time. Fans from Switzerland arriving by car can park at the P-DOC and use a free shuttle service. From 17:00 our FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE will operate from the free car park at the Designer Outlet Center (P1 only) as well as Hanuschplatz in the city centre. The P Messe car park is NOT available!
  2. PUBLIC TRANSPORT With your match ticket, you can travel for free on local public transport from six hours before kick-off until the last service of the day. That applies to all Salzburger Verkehrsverbund bus and train lines (in the federal state of Salzburg including the 260 corridor line as well as the entire Salzburg local train network to Ostermiething station) as well as the S-Bahn line to Freilassing train station. Match tickets are also valid in the same time period on the 150 line from Salzburg to Bad Ischl, the 140 line from Salzburg to Mondsee, the 156 line from St. Gilgen to Mondsee and the Straßwalchen line to Friedburg.   • WITH A BICYCLE
  • Get to the Red Bull Arena affordably and sustainably. Plenty of bike parking is available on the south, west, and north sides of the stadium for all cycling enthusiasts.

Around the stadium

  • Our fan park on the west side of the stadium is the perfect place to meet up before the match - and is open from three hours before kick-off as usual! Two food trucks provide a wide range of culinary offerings. Our event tools also ensure for fun and entertainment. An hour before the match there will be an autograph session here with a player out of action and Bullidibumm.
  • The Bullshop at the East Side of the Red Bull Arena opens from 10:00 until kick-off, and again for 45 minutes after the final whistle. 
  • The stadium is to open 90 minutes before kick-off.

New kiosk offering in the stadium

  1. Catering at the Red Bull Arena has been revamped: experienced catering partner foodaffairs is now operating the public kiosks in our stadium. You can look forward to an expanded and modern selection of food and drinks – of which visitors to our World Cup public viewing events already got a first taste! The offerings are complemented by high-performance beer dispensing systems, which allow for faster service and thus directly contribute to shorter waiting times.
  2. Please note that payment can only be made cashlessly at the Red Bull Arena's kiosks! All the usual credit and debit cards can be used. All the information on Cashless Payment can be found HERE.
  3. There is a €2 deposit on cups. If you want to donate the deposit, cups can be left by exits and the proceeds donated to the Wings for Life foundation.

Other

  1. Limited spaces available: on our matchday tour, you can not only go behind the scenes at the Red Bull Arena but also be right there when our Red Bulls arrive!
  1. Umbrella, handbag, or camera? You can find information about what you are allowed to bring with you on match day in our stadium regulations:
  1. As a family-friendly sports venue with large children's and youth areas, smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas of the Red Bull Arena. The only exception is the designated smoking areas in the stadium concourse.
