Lazio returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Genoa at an almost empty Stadio Olimpico, settled by Danilo Cataldi’s late penalty.

According to The Laziali, these were the standout ratings from the night.

Pedro opened the scoring from the spot, then Kenneth Taylor doubled the lead with his first goal for Lazio. Genoa hit back as Ruslan Milanovskyi converted a penalty and Vitinha finished a rebound. Cataldi kept his composure to tuck away the third penalty late on.

Gustav Isaksen proved the difference, winning the first penalty and chasing Ivan Provedel’s long ball to tee up Taylor. He was Lazio’s most decisive outlet.

Provedel denied Vitinha’s close-range header, touched Milanovskyi’s penalty and clawed away a direct corner, though he could not prevent the goals.

Adam Marusic produced a mixed display, while Mario Gila was unfortunate to concede a handball penalty. Oliver Provstgaard impressed with a last-ditch block and authority in the air. Luca Pellegrini shone early, then faded, and collected his fifth yellow card, earning a one-match ban.

Toma Basic grafted and went close with a curling effort. Taylor was lively before and after his strike, and Daniel Maldini’s debut brought neat touches around the box. Pedro remained reliably calm from the spot.

From the bench, Ratkov helped draw Ostigard’s handball and Cancellieri supplied the cross. Nuno Tavares offered an improved cameo, while Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Tijjani Noslin were not on long enough to rate.
