Lazio are reportedly trying to sign USMNT and Milan midfielder Yunus Musah on loan with option to buy for a total €20m, as Leeds United and Ipswich Town remain interested.

The 23-year-old is under contract with the Rossoneri until June 2028 and just returned to base after a disappointing loan spell with Atalanta.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lazio are offering to pay €2m to have Musah on loan, with an option to make it permanent at the end of the season for a further €18m.

Milan would much prefer to make a guaranteed sale, so are eager for Premier League sides like Leeds United and Ipswich Town to step up and make a firm proposal.

Meanwhile, new Milan coach Ruben Amorim is trying to evaluate Musah’s characteristics during pre-season training to decide whether or not to keep him in the squad.

The versatile midfielder made 27 appearances for Atalanta last season, contributing two goals and one assist.

However, only six of those matches were from the start.
