Leeds United host Brentford at Elland Road on Saturday in the Premier League, with Gabriel Gudmundsson suspended and the visitors carrying several injuries.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Daniel Farke’s side drew 0-0 at Crystal Palace, playing the entire second half with 10 men after Gudmundsson was dismissed for two bookings. Referee Thomas Bramall initially appeared to forget the first caution before being reminded, and the red card means the Swede will miss Saturday.

Leeds are otherwise in a relatively good place fitness-wise, while Brentford are managing a number of issues.

Fabio Carvalho is out for the season after anterior cruciate ligament surgery in November. Antoni Milambo also underwent ACL surgery in November and began early rehabilitation at the club, he too will miss the season. Josh Dasilva is recovering from ACL surgery and two further operations late last season, he has rejoined some first-team training this month under careful management.

Rico Henry has a hamstring problem, with Brentford boss Andrews saying earlier this month he will miss a number of weeks and is not expected back soon. Aaron Hickey suffered a hamstring injury against Brighton last month and is expected to be out until after the international break. Vitaly Janelt injured a metatarsal in the same game and is also out until after the international break.
