Leeds United have a rare weekend off before Monday’s Premier League trip to Everton, the reverse of August’s 1-0 win. Depending on other results, victory could lift Daniel Farke’s side to 14th.

Jaka Bijol, absent on the opening weekend, remains out with a hamstring strain, and Daniel James is still recovering from a hamstring tendon injury. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Farke said on Thursday that Anton Stach, who missed Saturday’s win over Fulham with an adductor issue, should be fit for Monday.

Loan signing Facundo Buonanotte will hope to make his Leeds debut on Merseyside. Nmecha, fresh from scoring the late winner at Fulham, could also push to start.

In goal, Karl Darlow replaced Lucas Perri at Fulham and, though rarely tested, kept a clean sheet. Given Farke’s reluctance to chop and change, he likely keeps his place.

James Justin dropped into the back three with Bijol out, having recently covered for Jayden Bogle. He fits the role, switching to full-back when Leeds have the ball.

Joe Rodon moved into the central position and was typically solid. He will be tasked with quietening the in-form Thierno Barry.

Pascal Struijk impressed, shielding Darlow and stepping into midfield when possible. Bogle returned smoothly, locked down Fulham’s left and provided width while Aaronson drifted inside.
