Leeds United complete permanent Elland Road tribute to Marcelo Bielsa | OneFootball

Leeds United have completed a permanent Elland Road tribute honouring supporters and former head coach Marcelo Bielsa at the newly finished Bielsa Place.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the final legacy stones have been installed, with more than 1,700 set in the East Stand section beside the reception area and 673 supporter names included.

The landmark celebrates the club’s passionate fanbase and Bielsa’s enduring influence on and off the pitch. The area includes a marble replica of his famous touchline bucket and a stone silhouette reflecting one of his most recognisable images.

Bielsa Place was named alongside Howard's Way as the two latest Legacy Stones sections available for purchase, giving fans the chance to etch their names into Elland Road. Installation of Howard's Way is expected from the end of July to the start of August.

All Legacy Stones are now sold out online. The club has thanked supporters for their backing.
