Leeds United supporters have largely backed selling Joel Piroe this month to raise funds and ease PSR pressure.

The Daily Mail reports the 49ers could make £25m available for Daniel Farke, yet outgoings would still help the balance sheet.

A recent fan discussion centred on who should be moved on, with many picking Piroe as the likeliest sale to improve flexibility.

Piroe cost £16m when he arrived from Swansea in August 2023. He has started only two Premier League games this season but retains strong value after winning last season’s Golden Boot with 19 in 46 Championship matches.

The mood appears pragmatic rather than hostile, with the striker viewed as the saleable asset Farke can afford to part with in winter. Ipswich and Leicester are said to be keen on him, and Middlesbrough have also been credited with interest.
