Bookmakers have priced the Premier League relegation market for next season, setting out how Leeds United compare after a safe return to the top flight.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Daniel Farke’s side avoided the drop on their first year back, finishing 14th, while Sunderland took seventh and a Europa Conference League place.
Last season’s Championship runners-up Burnley were the only promoted club to go straight back down, finishing second bottom. West Ham and Wolves were also relegated.
They will be replaced by Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City, promoted as champions, runners-up and play-off winners respectively. Arsenal will begin as defending champions.
The early relegation prices reflect the gap at the top, with Arsenal 1000-1, Liverpool and Manchester United 750-1, Aston Villa 100-1, Chelsea 80-1 and Tottenham 40-1 to go down. A full set of odds for next season is now available, including strong views on Leeds and the relegation battle.
