Leeds United have submitted an official bid for Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Jorgen Strand Larsen, according to the Telegraph.
Manager Daniel Farke wants more quality attacking firepower for the second half of the season.
Wolves are expected to ask for around £40 million for Strand Larsen, and it is unclear whether the Yorkshire club are willing to meet their demands.
The 24-year-old is also on the radar of Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and West Ham United.
The Wolves star ended last term with 14 goals in 35 league appearances and has notched six goals in 23 games this season.
Strand Larsen bagged 13 goals in his last season at Celta Vigo before joining Wolves on loan in 2024, and Leeds are convinced he has what it takes to improve their attack.
However, their initial bid has been rejected and it is unclear if they will imporve their offer.
The Whites are currently two places and eight points above the relegation zone after 22 league games, but survival is not assured yet.
They need to pick up as many points as possible in their remaining 16 games, and more goals will come in handy after their return of 30 goals thus far.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been responsible for nine of those goals, while Lukas Nmecha (5), Brenden Aaronson (4) and Anton Stach (3) have been responsible for 12 league goals between them.
Leeds could do with another top goalscorer within their ranks, and Strand Larsen fits the bill.
