Football Insider reports that Leeds United are monitoring Sunderland forward Wilson Isidor ahead of the summer window, as they are expected to seek attacking reinforcements for life back in the Premier League.
Isidor was key in last season’s promotion and began this campaign brightly, but his minutes have fallen since Brian Brobbey became Régis Le Bris’ preferred central striker.
The 25-year-old has not started a Premier League match since early December and has one goal in his past 24 appearances. He has five Premier League goals this season, and his reduced role has raised uncertainty over his future at the Stadium of Light.
Leeds are said to be seeking greater competition in attack, with Daniel Farke expected to bolster his forward options this summer. Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor are already in the picture, and Isidor is reportedly among the names under consideration.
Previous reports suggested Isidor could look to move on this summer to play more regularly. Everton and Nottingham Forest were linked in January, while Crystal Palace and Burnley were said to have explored late loan possibilities.
Sunderland chose not to weaken the squad mid-season while chasing safety, but that could change if suitable offers arrive. Isidor is under contract until 2028, and he was valued at about £25m in January, though there have been suggestions the fee may need to be lowered for a summer exit.
His situation forms part of a broader attacking review before Le Bris’ second Premier League season. Brobbey’s emergence has reshaped the pecking order, and the club are expected to explore further forward additions under sporting director Florent Ghisolfi.
