Leeds United face competition from Premier League clubs for long-term target Harry Wilson. TeamTalk reports that Everton are 'ready to battle' Leeds, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest for the Fulham winger, with United monitoring his contract situation.

Leeds opened their January business last week by taking Brighton and Hove Albion’s Facundo Buonanotte on loan after his Chelsea spell was cut short. He was an unused substitute in Saturday’s late win against Fulham and could debut at Everton next Monday.

An outgoing was confirmed on Monday as Jack Harrison joined Fiorentina on loan, a deal that could become permanent in the summer. There is hope of further additions before the window shuts.

Fulham manager Marco Silva said last month he had no doubt Wilson would stay at least until the end of the season and praised his focus for club and country. He also wants the contract settled more quickly, though acknowledged it is not always simple.

Leeds prospect Harry Gray made his Rotherham United debut in a 3-2 defeat at Stockport County on Saturday, days after sealing a loan move. The highly rated striker will be closely monitored by Leeds staff. A former Elland Road favourite said he had advised Gray and believes regular men’s football will accelerate his progress.
