Leeds United travel to Selhurst Park today, aiming to secure a vital victory and distance themselves from a mounting Premier League relegation battle.
The Whites have moved within three points of the bottom three following a four-game winless run in the league, though manager Daniel Farke oversaw a dominant FA Cup win over Norwich last weekend to restore confidence. Leeds are looking to complete a league double over Palace for the first time in 31 years, but must end a 20-year winless streak at Selhurst Park to do so.
Daniel Farke manages a largely “healthy squad” but faces late calls on two of his primary attacking outlets. Notably, Dominic Calvert-Lewin is “carefully optimistic” about starting after returning to team training following a knee issue. Consequently, his availability is pivotal as he has scored more goals against Palace (7) than any other team.
However, Noah Okafor remains a major doubt with a hip problem and is unlikely to feature from the start. Notably, Joe Rodon is expected to be restored to the defence after being rested, while Sean Longstaff could keep his place in midfield after his goalscoring turn in the cup.
Karl Darlow is likely to start in goal, with Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk anchoring the centre of the defence. In midfield, captain Ethan Ampadu will partner Angelo Stach and Sean Longstaff to combat Palace’s physical presence.
Brenden Aaronson and Albert Guðmundsson will provide the creative support for Calvert-Lewin up front. Despite their poor away record in London, Leeds showed resilience in their last capital visit, coming from two goals down to draw with Chelsea, and will need similar grit tonight.
Leeds United Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Darlow; Justin, Rodon, Struijk, Gudmundsson; Bogle, Stach, Ampadu, Longstaff, Aaronson; Calvert-Lewin
The Premier League fixture takes place at Selhurst Park on Sunday, 15 March 2026. Kick-off is scheduled for 14:00 GMT.
