Leicester City’s 2026/27 League One schedule has been confirmed, with an opening trip to Notts County on Saturday 15 August at 12.30pm live on Sky Sports Football. According to LeicesterMercury.co.uk, Burton Albion visit the King Power next, then MK Dons away completes August’s league slate.

City have been drawn at home to Northampton Town in the Carabao Cup first round. The tie at the King Power Stadium is due over the weekend of 7-9 August after a 4.30pm draw.

In the EFL Trophy, Leicester are in Group B with Walsall and Stevenage, and Fulham Under-21s complete the section. Dates and kick-off times will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

After successive relegations, the Foxes will play third-tier football for only the second time. Russell Martin’s side are among the early favourites to win the league.

Other key dates include Plymouth Argyle at home on Tuesday 1 September at 7.45pm, AFC Wimbledon at home on Boxing Day, Wycombe Wanderers away on New Year’s Day and Cambridge United at home on Saturday 8 May at 12.30pm.
