Leicester City show interest in Marseille’s Lilian Brassier | OneFootball

Lilian Brassier’s (25) move to Olympique de Marseille has not yet gone to plan and, as a result, his stay at the Vélodrome may be cut short.

Brassier made the move from Stade Brestois to OM in the summer, however, he has yet to acclimatise, to the extent that, fearing the defender’s ability to cope with the pressures and expectations of playing at the Vélodrome, they are open to selling him in January.

If OM are looking to find a destination for the Frenchman, there are seemingly plenty of takers. Despite his sturggles in recent months, he has still retained his value on the market. As per Foot Mercato, two Ligue 1 clubs, including OGC Nice, have shown an interest in Brassier. There is also interest from Premier League strugglers Leicester City, La Liga side Villarreal, and Bundesliga side Wolfsburg. All of the aforementioned have already made contact with the player’s entourage.

However, for now, Brassier has no intention of leaving Marseille and is keen to reverse the trend at his new club.
