Leicester City’s Harry Souttar has attracted Championship interest after the World Cup, with Stoke City, Sheffield United and Hollywood-backed Wrexham linked to the £15m-rated defender. A post on X claimed the 27-year-old is set to leave before the club’s pre-season trip to Spain, with those three clubs emerging as possible destinations.
The Australia international reached the Round of 32 in North America, where Egypt knocked his side out. His future at the King Power Stadium looks uncertain as Leicester adjust to life in League One.
Souttar joined Stoke from Dundee United in 2016 as an 18-year-old, spending seven years at the Bet365 Stadium before a £15m move to Leicester in 2023.
He went on loan to Sheffield United in August 2024, but returned midway through the campaign after rupturing his Achilles tendon.
Souttar is under contract until the summer of 2028, and Leicester will look to recoup as much of the £15m they paid Stoke.
