According to Globo.com, Flamengo defender Léo Pereira has been cleared of an injury to his left knee after tests, but he remains a doubt for the upcoming fixtures.

He felt pain during the 21st-round draw with Internacional at Beira-Rio. He put his hand to the knee in the first half, stayed on, then was replaced by Danilo at the interval.

He has an oedema and skipped Friday's session with team-mates at Ninho do Urubu. The squad had Thursday off and returned to preparation, with further morning sessions scheduled on Saturday and Sunday.

With several free days ahead, the club are not putting a timeline on his return. There is still hope he could face Vitória and then Cruzeiro in the Libertadores round of 16, though he is considered doubtful.

On other injuries, Plata missed training as he is being treated for right knee tendinitis and will resume only when the pain eases. Luiz Araújo is recovering from a right knee injury, has started running on grass and has also been working on the club's anti-gravity treadmill, but needs more time before he is available.
