Barcelona take on Levante on match day 25 of La Liga and will look to turn around their fortunes as they return to the Spotify Camp Nou after a horrendous week.
After being pulped 4-0 by Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey, the Catalans lost to Girona away from home taking a second straight defeat on their result sheet.
In the process, they handed the lead in La Liga back to Real Madrid and now must fight to stay within touching distance of Los Blancos.
Speaking to the media ahead of his team’s clash against Barcelona tomorrow, Levante manager Luis Castro spoke on a plethora of topics including the form of Hansi Flick’s team in recent weeks.
Praising Barcelona despite their recent rut, he called them one of the best in the world and spoke on how playing them after two defeats would not be easy.
“They are one of the best teams in the world. It’s not the best time to play against them, because when they lose they come to the next game with maximum concentration,” he began.

“They are a team with a lot of individual quality and collectively are very aggressive. We have to lose as few balls as possible and defend together,” he added on how his team must play to hurt Barcelona.
The manager was then asked how similar it was to play Barcelona compared to Real Madrid, to which he said,
“They are two great teams but there are differences in their game. The spaces of the Barcelona and Real Madrid players are different.”
“There are changes in what we want to do because they are different teams as they attack,” he added, hinting at Barcelona’s possession-based game.
Finally, he was asked about how his team was ahead of the big game in terms of the dressing room spirit.
“The players are giving their best. It’s a game against a great team but we’re going to fight as always and try to give our best.”
