Bayer Leverkusen are set to profit off the back of Iker Bravo's impending transfer to EFL Championship side Watford FC.

The 21-year-old is transferring from Serie A side Udinese Calcio to the Hornets and has signed a contract until summer of 2029.

According to Kicker, the transfer fee comes in at just under €4million, which will initially be paid to Udinese.

However, Leverkusen, for whom the striker was under contract between 2021 and 2024, are also said to benefit from this.

When he moved to Udinese, the club not only received a €600,000 transfer fee, but also secured a 50 percent sell-on clause.

Accordingly, this means that almost €1.9million will be passed directly on to the Rhineland club due to the sell-on clause agreed.
