Strasbourg head coach Liam Rosenior has led the Alsatians’ training session this Friday morning as usual, amid talks of a potential switch to the Premier League, according to L’Equipe. Rosenior is the leading candidate to replace Enzo Maresca at Chelsea FC who, like Strasbourg, are owned by the American consortium BlueCo.
Rosenior’s Strasbourg will play OGC Nice away this Saturday at 7pm CET. The outlet that Strabourg do not know whether or not this will be Rosenior’s last game in the Alsatians’ dugout. However, no concrete preparations have reportedly begun for Rosenior’s Strasbourg exit. Chelsea U21 manager Calum McFarlane is reportedly in the frame to replace Rosenior should he join Chelsea.
The 41-year-old will presumably spare a thought regarding Chelsea’s managerial vacancy in his press conference this afternoon.
