Former Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has returned to French football after being named the new Paris FC head coach.
Rosenior, who was also in charge of Derby County and Strasbourg has signed a two-year deal with the Parisian side after an ill-fated spell at Stamford Bridge which saw him oversee 23 games with a record of 11 wins, two draws, and 10 defeats.
"Liam Rosenior embodies all the qualities we were looking for," the club's sporting director Marco Neppe said about the appointment.
"He is a modern, demanding manager, recognised for his ability to develop both individual players and the team as a whole. Beyond his tactical expertise, we were particularly impressed by his leadership qualities and his ability to unite a squad around a clear vision.
"I am convinced that he has everything it takes to succeed at Paris FC, and I wish him every success in this new chapter of his career."
Last season, Paris FC finished 11th in the French top flight and finished the season with a 2-1 victory at home to champions Paris Saint-Germain.
