The Copa Libertadores group stage has concluded, with 16 clubs into the last 16 and two seeded pots confirmed. According to Coluna Do Fla, group winners will face runners-up, so Flamengo, Group A winners, will meet a second-placed side.
Pot 1 comprises Flamengo, Coquimbo Unido (CHI), Independiente Rivadavia (ARG), Universidad Católica (CHI), Corinthians, LDU (EQU), Cerro Porteño (PAR) and Independiente del Valle (EQU).
Pot 2 features Estudiantes (ARG), Deportes Tolima (COL), Fluminense, Cruzeiro, Platense (ARG), Mirassol, Palmeiras and Rosario Central (ARG).
Only two Brazilian clubs are in Pot 1, Flamengo and Corinthians. Four Brasileirão sides sit in Pot 2, Fluminense, Cruzeiro, Palmeiras and Mirassol, meaning Flamengo have a 50% chance of drawing domestic opposition.
With five wins and one draw, Flamengo posted the best overall record and will host second legs in the knockouts through to the semi-finals if they advance. The final is a single match in Uruguay.
The round of 16 is scheduled for August, with first legs between 11 and 13 August and returns from 18 to 20 August. Conmebol will confirm exact dates and kick-off times.
The last 16 draw takes place on Friday 29 at midday Brasília time at Conmebol headquarters in Luque, Paraguay, when the bracket to the final will also be set.
