According to L'Équipe, PSG lead the Ligue 1 coaches’ pay table in 2026, with OL second and OM third, despite an overall decline.
The average monthly wage is 170,275€, down from 183,000€ in 2025, amid the TV rights crisis. Four incumbents, Paulo Fonseca, Christophe Pelissier, Didier Digard and Alexandre Dujeux, received slight increases.
Excluding PSG’s Luis Enrique, the mean falls to 121,470€, compared with 135,000€ last year. Enrique is on 1,000,000€ per month, nearly triple Paulo Fonseca on 350,000€.
OM’s Habib Beye earns 230,000€, ahead of Bruno Genesio at Lille on 220,000€, and Rennes coach Franck Haise on 180,000€. Monaco’s Sébastien Pocognoli is on 150,000€ net, with Strasbourg’s Gary O’Neil also at 150,000€.
At the other end, Metz’s Benoît Tavenot is on 25,000€ after arriving on 20 January to replace Stéphane Le Mignan, dismissed by Metz, last in Ligue 1. Other figures include Antoine Kombouaré at Paris FC on 120,000€, and Claude Puel, Vahid Halilhodzic and Pierre Sage at 100,000€.
