GFFN editor-in-chief  Luke Entwistle, and sub-editors Raphaël Jucobin and Bastien Cheval face off in our Ligue 1 predictions competition. This season, GFFN will also be hosting guests. Earlier this season, The Athletic’s Alex Barker participated and became the first name on our guest leaderboard, and he has since been joined by Julien Laurens. It’s three points for a correct score, two points for a correct score difference, and one point for a correct result. Who will come out on top at the end of the season?

Game of the week: Lille OSC v Olympique de Marseille, Friday 20:00 (UK)

Lille OSC come into this game off the back of two straight wins in Ligue 1, whilst Olympique de Marseille drew last week against Toulouse FC, missing the chance to go top of the table. LOSC have confidence and also home form on their side. Bruno Genesio’s side have lost just once at home in all competitions this season. OM’s record, however, is good against big sides this season (win over Paris Saint-Germain, 5-1 win over local rivals OGC Nice). It is against the so-called inferior sides (Angers, Toulouse…) that OM have dropped points. They will be determined to keep up the pressure on PSG with a win, but they will be aware that coming away with all three points will be a difficult task.
