Lille predicted XI v Metz: New signings Gaëtan Perrin and Noah Edjouma benched | OneFootball

Lille OSC were one of the busier teams in France on Monday as they scrambled to add attacking reinforcements ahead of the transfer deadline. 

Rumours of Mathys Tel and Jhon Durán never came to pass, with Lille instead bringing in Gaëtan Perrin from Russia and Noah Edjouma from Toulouse FC. Neither of the two new signings are expected to start tonight against bottom-of-the-table FC Metz, with L’Équipe predicting that if they are going to make a debut, it’ll be off the bench. 

Olivier Giroud is expected to return to the starting line-up with Les Dogues searching for their first league win of 2026. Bruno Génésio had experimented in the past two games with Matias Fernandez-Pardo playing as the no.9, but the Belgian-Spaniard will likely be in his more familiar role on the wing.
