Olivier Giroud should be back in the starting line-up this afternoon as Lille OSC host Toulouse FC at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in a clash between two teams with ambitions for European football.

The France World Cup winner was ruled out of Lille’s last outing with an injury, as Les Dogues swept to a 7-1 victory over FC Lorient. His return means that summer signing Hamza Iagamane will have to wait for his first start, despite impressing on his debut from the bench against Lorient.

Bruno Génésio will be pleased that he can turn to Tiago Santos for the first time since the right-back suffered an ACL injury last October. The fullback will come in for the injured Thomas Meunier. The only other change from the side that beat Lorient will likely be Mathias Fernandez-Pardo starting on the right instead of Marius Broholm.
