Lionel Messi provides his response to Barcelona’s drubbing of Real Madrid | OneFootball

Barcelona legend Lionel Messi has on Sunday taken to social media, to provide his response to the club’s resounding victory over Real Madrid.

And the Argentine, like all of a Barcelona persuasion, appears nothing short of delighted with the latest endeavours of Hansi Flick’s squad.

The Blaugrana are of course fresh off nothing short of a historic triumph, late last night.

After making the trip to Spain’s capital for the season’s first edition of El Clásico, the visitors ran riot, on their way to an eventual 4-0 win.

A whole host of Barcelona stars from years gone by, including the likes of Neymar Jr, Gerard Piqué and Sergi Roberto, in turn, have since moved to send messages of congratulations to the club’s current crop of stars.

And, as alluded to above, a short time ago, such messages were added to by the greatest player to ever pull on the colours of the Catalans.

Taking to the comments section of Barcelona’s celebratory Instagram post, Lionel Messi wrote:

‘What a beautiful victory!!’
