Liverpool will soon learn their opponents and fixture list for the upcoming Champions League campaign as the draw for the 2025/26 edition of the competition looms.
The Reds may have ran away with the Premier League title last season, but they slightly under-achieved in the Champions League, so will be eager to put that right.
Arne Slot’s side finished top of the table in the league phase, but were then knocked out by Paris Saint-Germain on penalties after a 1-1 draw on aggregate.
Liverpool have only strengthened since then, however, bringing in big names like Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Jeremie Frimpong, and Milos Kerkez in this hugely ambitious transfer window.

Liverpool fans will surely be keeping an eye on Thursday’s draw for the league phase of the competition, which will be made at 5pm UK time.
If LFC can again finish in the top eight of the table, they’ll book their place in the knockout stages, which shouldn’t be too big a challenge for such a strong side, though of course you never know.
Liverpool can look forwards to playing their first game in the competition between the 16th and 18th of September.
