Liverpool and Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Bradley Barcola (23) with Paris Saint-Germain ruling the French international forward as not for sale, according to a report from David Ornstein. The Frenchman has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs during the summer transfer window, including Liverpool and Arsenal

Despite the pending arrival of Maghnes Akliouche and long-term interest in Yan Diomande, Les Parisiens are resolute in their stance that the former Lyon attacker is not for sale this summer. The French champions are still keen to keep the 23-year-old despite his reluctance to sign a new contract. PSG are under no pressure to sell with the departures of Gonçalo Ramos, Lee Kang-in, and Randal Kolo Muani freeing up salary and squad space.

PSG value Barcola more than Manchester City are set to pay for Elliot Anderson

When valuing the French international,  PSG have looked at other developments in the market before naming their price tag. In the eventuality that the forward was to leave the Parc des Princes this summer, he would cost ‘much more’ than the £116m that Manchester City are set to pay for Elliot Anderson.
