Liverpool can move a staggering 26 points ahead of rivals Manchester United should they beat the disillusioned Red Devils on Sunday.
Arne Slot, who has already secured a 3-0 win over Man Utd in the Premier League, has guided his side to the summit of the table during his first half-season at Anfield and has tasted just a single defeat during his impressive reign.
Sunday provides the Dutch coach with another opportunity to achieve a convincing victory that will further endear him to the Anfield faithful, with Liverpool guaranteed to finish the weekend as league leaders regardless of the outcome of Man Utd's trip to Merseyside.
Here is how Slot could line his Liverpool side up for a crucial fixture.

GK: Alisson - Liverpool's goalkeeper is still one of the best - if not the best - in the world and he has kept five consecutive clean sheets in home fixtures with Man Utd. Given the Red Devils have blanked in their last three, he will fancy a sixth on Sunday.
RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold - There has been significant discussion over his Liverpool future but his performance at West Ham last time out exemplifies why he is so integral for the Reds. It was an exceptional display, both in the final third and his own half.
CB: Jarell Quansah - Ibrahima Konate is back in full training but Sunday's clash may come too soon for him. As Joe Gomez faces several weeks out with a hamstring issue, young Quansah may be called upon at Anfield.
CB: Virgil van Dijk - Liverpool's skipper has been imperious this term and won't be overly concerned by the prospect of facing Rasmus Hojlund or his compatriot Joshua Zirkzee.
LB: Andy Robertson - There has been justifiable criticism of the Scotsman this season but he still has the backing of Slot. It would be brave if the Dutchman were to replace him with Kostas Tsimikas this weekend.
DM: Ryan Gravenberch - Liverpool's Dutch cohort have all dazzled this term and Gravenberch has been the beating heart in midfield. The young midfielder continues to blossom in his new defensive role.
DM: Alexis Mac Allister - Mac Allister has a goal and two assists in his last three matches and scored against Man Utd in the FA Cup last term. The Argentinian will be key in controlling the midfield battle against unconvincing opposition.
RW: Mohamed Salah - Despite providing a concerning update on his Liverpool future, Salah's on-field performance will not be affected against Man Utd. He has 15 goals and six assists in 16 appearances versus the Red Devils.
AM: Dominik Szoboszlai - The Hungary international missed the West Ham victory through suspension but returns on Sunday. He will be fighting with Curtis Jones for a starting berth against Man Utd.
LW: Cody Gakpo - Gakpo found himself on the scoresheet again last weekend, scoring his 11th goal of the season against the Hammers. With two in his last two, he will be keen to grab another double against Man Utd - as he did in the 7-0 thrashing during 2022/23.
ST: Luis Diaz - The return of Diogo Jota has been welcomed with open arms but Diaz is in such incredible form that he simply can't be dropped. He's scored three in his last two and is primed to punish a dismal Red Devils defence.
