Liverpool sign Munoz and hope to complete Diomande deal | OneFootball

Liverpool have signed Spanish international winger Victor Munoz from Osasuna for a fee of £34.5m.

The 22-year-old has signed a six-year deal with the club, becoming new boss Andoni Iraola’s first signing since he was appointed at Anfield.

Munoz is currently with the Spain national team at the World Cup, and will complete his move subject to a successful work permit application and international clearance.

He made 34 appearances for Osasuna last season, scoring seven times and notching five assists in all competitions.

Liverpool fought off competition from Newcastle to sign the former Real Madrid winger.

And they are now hoping to follow up the signing of Munoz by bringing in another winger in RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande, with negotiations over a deal for the 19-year-old ongoing.
