Make that four losses in a row for Liverpool, but take nothing away from Brentford's compelling performance!

FULL TIME: Brentford 3-2 Liverpool

And that's that. A late rally was not enough and the Bees hold on to embarrass the Reds once again.

There are seven additional minutes here for Slot's side to find one or two more. Will the Bees hold on?

(A) GOAL! Brentford 3-2 Liverpool

And virtually out of nothing, it's Salah who has pulled the Reds back within one in the dying moments. The Egyptian brings down a cross from the right side of the box and volleys home.

Oh what do we have here.

According to social media, Brentford fans are chanting "what a waste of money" towards the German midfielder as he is substituted off.

Questions will be asked of Wirtz, once again, following another ho-hum performance.

However at just three shots on target we're not so sure that will be happening. Liverpool, in contrast to that figure, has had 67% of the ball.

There are about 15 minutes to go for the Reds to find a way back into this.

Following that goal, it means Liverpool have now conceded almost double their amount of games in goals. Yikes.

PENALTY! Brentford 3-1 Liverpool

The hosts are awarded a penalty after Virgil van Dijk commits a foul just on the edge of the box. VAR confirmed, and it's Igor Thiago who restores the two goal lead for the Bees.

Now we have a VAR intervention, but not for Salah.

More drama! Now plenty of questions will be asked of this second referee, as Salah evaded a red card for this challenge on Schade. Was it the right call?

SECOND HALF

We're back underway now following a slight delay. It's a change in referees after the initial official picked up a hamstring injury. Game on!

HALF-TIME

Coming up after the break, who do we think will keep hold of all three points?

GOAL! Brentford 2-1 Liverpool

Kerkez has turned from zero to semi-hero here on the stroke of half-time. He's left unmarked at the back post and blasts home after crashing the box, allowing the Reds to cut the defecit in half.

Wait, hold on. We've got a game!

GOAL! Brentford 2-0 Liverpool

Now, seconds later after the penalty claims, it's another goal for the hosts.

Damsgaard sends an inch-perfect through ball to Kevin Schade who is clean through and makes no mistake.

And now Liverpool will be frustrated not to have earned a penalty here after Cody Gakpo goes down in the box. It's Nathan Collins with the mistake, but it goes unpunished.

CHANCE!

Mikkel Damsgaard has a crack form distance but it's saved by Giorgi Mamardashvili.

In case you missed it earlier, Newcastle grabbed a last-minute win via Bruno Guimarães. Check out every single celebration.

Unfortunately for the hosts, they're being forced into an early substitution here near the 30-minute mark.

Yehor Yarmolyuk picks up and injury and heads down the tunnel, with Vitaly Janelt coming on.

Florian Wirtz is trying to have an impact here, but nothing from the German midfielder can generate an equalizer.

And with that early opener, Liverpool have now failed to keep a clean sheet in nine games in a row!

The Bees might as well change their name at this point!

GOAL! Brentford 1-0 Liverpool

Arne Slot's team has gone behind early once again. It's left the Reds shocked after a throw in from Brentford sees Dango Ouattara's outstreched foot volley the ball home.

And, we've got an early lead!

KICK OFF!

And finally for the final fixture of the day, we're turning our attention to Brentford where the Bees host Liverpool. Buckle up.

A look at United's record under Amorim.

That's now three in a row for Amorim's side. Are the Red Devils officially back?

GOAL + FULL TIME! Man Utd 4-2 Brighton

That's the comeback off for the Seagulls. A loose ball finds it way to Mbeumo in the box and he makes no mistake to ensure all three points are United's.

Kostoulas, age 18, scored off of a corner kick from James Milner, age 39. Some stuff!

GOAL! Man Utd 3-2 Brighton

The hosts opted to relax in the final minutes and Charalampos Kostoulas is left at the front post to nod home from a corner kick easily.

They couldn't, could they?

Oh, could we have a nervy finish here?

Here's an even better angle of that Welbeck strike.

GOAL! Man Utd 3-1 Brighton

It's Danny Welbeck who finally finds the net for the visitors. An inch-perfect free-kick curls up and over the wall, beating a diving Lammens.

Now we have a goal for the 'Gulls!

Oh, more controversy here. The hosts are very lucky to somehow not go down to 10 men after denying a clear goalscoring opportunity.

GOAL! Man Utd 3-0 Brighton

It's another for the hosts this time from the in-form Bryan Mbeumo, who nutmegs Lewis Dunk and finishes at the near post.

According to Statman Dave, he has been directly involved in four Premier League goals for the club this season. That's more than anyone else.

It appears, they may be back?

Following the action at Old Trafford, it's Liverpool away to Brentford. Here is how the two sides shape up.

Alexander Isak and Ryan Gravenberch are notably both absent.

Benajmin Sesko is the next to try and get in on the action. But his effort is easily saved.

SECOND HALF UNDERWAY!

Another 45 minutes coming up.

Some pressure coming up, given these stats!

HALF-TIME

We're at the break at Old Trafford now after two moments from the hosts ensured they lead Brighton at the break.

GOAL! Man Utd 2-0 Brighton

Oh, the Seagulls will feel super hard done by here.

Casemiro makes it 2-0 after his effort from outside the box hits off the back of Yasin Ayari and wrong-foots Verbruggen.

Look at what it means for No. 10!

And some stats behind his first goal for Manchester United...

GOAL! Man Utd 1-0 Brighton

Penalty claims aside, we have a breakthrough!

It's summer signing Matheus Cunha who receives the ball from Casemiro and guides the ball into the bottom right corner from outside the box.

United fans are up in arms here after seeing not one but two penalty claims fail to go their way.

First, Amad dribbled into the box and appeared to be clipped before dropping to the ground. Then moments later, it was Bryan Mbuemo taken down.

Drama...

CHANCE!

Now it's United's turn to pull out their first attempt. Matheus Cunha's long range effort is saved by Bart Verbruggen

CHANCE!

Scratch that, we have a shot on target. But Sam Lammens makes a comfortable save on Danny Welbeck after a cutback in the box.

Bringing you the stats near the 15-minute mark. The Seagulls hold slightly more possession of the ball (57%), but it's still no shots on target for either side.

CHANCE!

It could've been a cracking start for Brighton on the counter. However Yankuba Minteh is not only offside, but also skewed his effort.

It's a moment to remember for Bruno Fernandes today. The captain makes his 300th appearance for the club.

KICK OFF!

Underway now. Who do you have coming out on top? Let us know in the comments below.

A look at the Manchester United stars...

Coming up next, all eyes turn to Old Trafford, where Ruben Amorim's side welcome Brighton.

Sunderland get into Chelsea's penalty area and Granit Xhaka almost picks out a teammate. Luckily for Chelsea, Josh Acheampong recovers in the knick of time and clears.

Chelsea are pressing for a winner at Stamford Bridge. Fernandez tries to get things going with a pot-shot from 20-yards out, but it doesn't trouble Roefs.

20 minutes remaining in both games. Can anyone produce a late winner?

Chelsea have a penalty appeal after Roefs flies out from goal and clears, but batters through Marc Cucurella in the process. Referee Madley thinks it's a fair challenge and no penalty is given.

CHANCE FULHAM

It's really opened up at St James' and Jimenez is next to try his luck with a fizzing low strike. Pope is alert and gets down to keep it out.

CHANCE NEWCASTLE

Guimaraes is left completely unmarked inside the area to header towards the top corner from Gordon's cross. His effort loops just past the top corner.

CHANCE CHELSEA

Estêvão almost makes an immediate impact from the bench and strikes towards goal from inside the area, but he can't find the target.

There's an enforced injury change at Newcastle. Sven Botman has a nasty head injury and is replaced by Fabian Schar.

Here's the team news from Old Trafford, where Man United host Brighton this evening.

GOAL FULHAM!

All of a sudden, Fulham level through Sasa Lukic. The midfielder is the fastest to react as Jimenez's shot cannons off the bar and Lukic fires high into the net.

All pretty cagey between Fulham and Newcastle early in the second period. No chances or shots yet..

Sunderland have started positively in the second half and are putting Chelsea under pressure with a series of long throws and corners.

SECOND HALF

The action resumes at Stamford Bridge and St James' Park.

Are we due a winner at the Bridge?

A strong return to the Magpies' starting XI for Joelinton this afternoon.

HALF TIME: Chelsea 1-1 Sunderland

Garnacho's first Chelsea goal gave the Blues a perfect start. But, in-form Sunderland fired back through Isidor's poacher's finish to level.

HALF TIME: Newcastle 1-0 Fulham

A pretty even first half but Murphy's well-taken finish is the difference at half time.

Trevoh Chalobah tries his luck from distance and forces Roefs into a finger-tip save. Chelsea really applying the pressure here to restore their lead before the break.

CHANCE NEWCASTLE

Murphy controls Anthony Gordon's excellent through ball and lashes a shot at goal. Leno is alert and gets a slight touch to divert the shot away.

CHANCE CHELSEA

Enzo Fernandez flicks on to Garnacho, who half volleys towards goal. Roefs gets across his line quickly and saves.

Pedro tumbles inside the Sunderland area and appeals for a penalty. Any protests are quickly dismissed by referee Andy Madley.

Joao Pedro goes one on one with Roefs but tries to pick out Marc Guiu instead of shooting. It proves to be the wrong choice as Sunderland get back to clear the danger.

CHANCE FULHAM

Adama Traore reacts first to Nick Pope's spilled save and shoots across the face of goal.

Isidor's fourth goal of the season leaves things all square at Stamford Bridge.

GOAL SUNDERLAND!

The Black Cats are level. Bertrand Traoré volleys towards goal and Wilson Isidor is lurking to poke the ball over the line.

Murphy gets off the mark in the Premier League...

GOAL NEWCASTLE

Calvin Bassey gives the ball away to Jacob Murphy, who breaks forward and slots into the left corner past Bernd Leno.

We've seen that celebration before 👀

CHANCE FULHAM

Raul Jimenez's deflected shot bounces inches wide. Fulham's first opening at St James' Park.

Chelsea are on top here as Marc Cucurella has a shot blocked and Moise Caicedo's deflected shot loops just over the bar.

After making his move from Man United in the summer, Garnacho gets off the mark at Chelsea.

CHANCE NEWCASTLE

Bruno Guimaraes' low drive skims past the post. Positive start for the Toon.

GOAL CHELSEA

Alejandro Garnacho races into the Sunderland area and thumps through the legs of Robin Roefs for his first goal for the Blues.
