Liverpool team news: Isak starts Merseyside Derby vs Everton | OneFootball

Alexander Isak has been named in the Liverpool team to face Everton in the Merseyside Derby.

The Swedish striker has recently returned from a long lay-off and earns the nod at centre-forward, in the absence of Hugo Ekitike. Arne Slot has made four changes from the team that lost to Paris St-Germain in the Champions League in midweek.

Andy Robertson, Curtis Jones, Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo all return to the starting side. Either Jones or Dominik Szoboszlai is expected to start at right-back, with Jeremie Frimpong among the substitutes.

Giorgi Mamardashvili continues in goal with Alisson Becker out injured.
