In the end, however, Ngumoha will remain in Liverpool.

Liverpool is counting on the youngster

The attacking player enjoys an excellent reputation internally at Anfield Road. The club’s officials see Ngumoha as a key part of their future plans and want to give him significantly more playing time next season. At the same time, talks are already underway regarding a long-term contract extension.

According to reports from England, there is great confidence that an agreement can be reached soon.

For FC Bayern, this means the end of all hopes for a transfer for the time being.

However, the Reds’ reaction to the numerous speculations of the past few days is interesting.

As TEAMtalk reports, the public portrayal of the situation has caused considerable internal discontent. However, the criticism is not directed at FC Bayern. Rather, Liverpool is said to be annoyed by how some media outlets have portrayed the situation.

In particular, reports claiming that Ngumoha was on the verge of a move to Munich are apparently perceived as significantly exaggerated at Anfield Road.

At the same time, according to the report, there are no allegations against the German record champions. Liverpool always assumed that Bayern would comply with all regulations and communicate exclusively with the player’s representatives. That is exactly what is said to have happened.

The Munich club simply tried, within the limits of their capabilities, to convince one of Europe’s most promising young players to join their sporting project.

The fact that this was not successful is primarily due to Liverpool’s clear stance.

Nevertheless, the Munich club is unlikely to lose Ngumoha entirely from sight.

Should the youngster sign his new contract, it will be crucial whether Liverpool actually delivers on the promised opportunities. Regular playing time at the highest level is considered a key factor for the talent’s continued development.

The club at Säbener Straße will therefore likely continue to monitor the situation closely.

For this summer, however, the matter is closed. Ngumoha remains at Liverpool FC, while Bayern Munich continues its search for young attacking players in other areas.
