Liverpool have made their pick to replace Marc Guehi as a new centre-back. And he's already discussing a possible move.
Liverpool wanted to add Marc Guehi to their group this season but a deal fell apart right as the transfer window closed. All was sorted - a fee, a contract, the medical.
Crystal Palace, however, had a change of heart. They couldn't afford to let Guehi leave without an adequate replacement and they'd never found one.

Despite everything going to plan, Liverpool were left without their new centre-back. And that puts everything in a very different position.
Guehi's contract expires in the summer but non-English clubs can talk to him from January. From there, he can agree a pre-contract before Liverpool are even at the table.
The Mirror reports that Guehi is likely to do that, too. Real Madrid want him and that's his destination of choice.
That leaves Liverpool needing to head in a different direction as they source a new centre-back. And they appear to have found one.
E-Noticies claims Liverpool are in the mix for Ronald Araujo. They value him at around €50m and will look to talk with Barcelona.
The Reds seem to have their Guehi alternative, then. The report goes as far as saying that Luis Suárez has already discussed a potential move with Araujo, letting him know that a move to Liverpool is a positive one.
Suarez has played for both clubs, of course.
