Long-term Barcelona injury absentee ‘should be 100% ready’ by September | OneFootball

Barcelona starlet Marc Bernal is expected to be back available for competitive action by this coming September.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have this week provided an update on the midfielder’s wellbeing.

Bernal, for his part, was of course dealt a hammer blow all the way back in August of last year.

After establishing himself as a key figure in the engine room setup of new boss Hansi Flick at just 17 years of age, Bernal picked up a knee problem late in a 2-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano.

As much was subsequently confirmed to be an ACL tear, ruling the starlet out for the long-term.

So, with Bernal having gone on to miss the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign, when can the Barcelona faithful expect to see their side’s prodigious young talent back on the pitch in Blaugrana colours.

As per a report from Sport, the wait is almost over:

‘Bernal should be 100% by September.’
