Lorran struck after coming on as a first-half substitute in Flamengo's 4-0 win at Chapecoense, a display that drew praise from Leonardo Jardim and strengthened his push for a bigger role.
According to Globo.com, he replaced Gonzalo Plata before the break at Arena Condá, then scored after half-time and worked for the team both with and without the ball. The Santa Catarina club sit bottom of the Brasileirão.
Before this match he had scored in interseason friendlies against Lausanne of Switzerland and Olimpia of Paraguay. That strike moved him to three goals in five appearances since returning to the club.
Jardim highlighted improved defensive work, an area that had previously limited his use in the first team, noting his efforts to recover possession and hold his position within the game plan. He considered it a good step and congratulated the young midfielder.
With his club future still unresolved, the recent goals and the coach's endorsement give him momentum. Flamengo remain second on 37 points, with one game in hand on leaders Palmeiras on 44, and host São Paulo at the Maracanã on Sunday at 18:30.
