I became the first driver in history to win both the British and European Rally Championships, and now my goal is to become World Champion—bringing a first World Motorsport title home to Manchester.
City was my first love—and my first word!
My dad took me to Maine Road when I was as young as three. I’ll never forget the feeling of walking through those terraced streets, getting closer and closer to the stadium. Those early days built my love for City—and for chasing dreams.
A decade later, he took me to watch a rally race deep in the forests, and a few years after that, I got the chance to drive at a rally school day at just 14.
That’s when everything clicked. I wasn’t the best at football, but I was gifted with natural car control. From that moment, I knew my path wasn’t on the pitch—it was behind the wheel.
The same passion I felt as a young City fan, watching the team fight for every win, is the same competitive spirit that now drives me every single day in my own sport.
Supporting City has been about loyalty, resilience, and believing in something bigger—qualities that have shaped me as an athlete.
I became a fan in the late ’90s when success felt a long way off. Watching City rise to the top, and seeing legends like Aguero, David Silva, and Rodri define an era, has been unreal.
It’s that same mindset I bring to my own career—I started from the bottom, and now I’m competing against the best drivers in the world.
That winning mentality is what helped my co-driver, Alex Kihurani, and me become British Rally Champions.
Rallying is brutal, and like City, we had to fight through every challenge to come out on top. It’s that resilience and hunger that will take us to the next level.
There was no better way to show my love for City than by starting Rallye Monte Carlo - the most prestigious rally in the world - in a sky-blue rally car.
I managed to convert a lot of my mates in primary school in Altrincham from United to City—safe to say, they’re thanking me now! Even though I live in Monaco, I stay connected with City through social media and trips home.
Whenever I’m back in the UK, I always make time for a City match with my dad.
He is the heart of it all—he’s been there since the beginning, just like he has with my career.
My dad is one of the loudest in the stadium, and his passion is as entertaining as the football itself.
The last few years as a City fan have been absolutely epic. Pep is an icon. His approach to the game—precision, intelligence, relentless pursuit of perfection—is something I try to apply to my own sport.
Rallying is all about attention to detail and pushing limits, just like Pep’s City. He’s made history and set new standards.
That’s exactly how I approach my own career—I don’t just want to compete, I want to be the best in the world.
Supporting City is part of who I am. It’s about legacy, pride, and loyalty. The sky-blue shirt just feels right.
Growing up as a City fan and an Oasis fan, it’s rooted in my identity. Just like City’s journey, my career has been full of ups and downs, but I’m in it for the long haul.
