Paris Saint-Germain have been dealt a potential setback ahead of Saturday’s Ligue 1 meeting with Rennes (21:00) as Lucas Chevalier once again sat out collective training on Thursday morning, according to a report from L’Équipe.

The former Lille goalkeeper, who suffered a heavy tackle during PSG’s 1-0 defeat to Monaco last weekend, is still receiving treatment for a right ankle injury and has yet to resume group work. With just two days remaining before the match at the Parc des Princes, his availability remains doubtful.

There was, however, a positive development elsewhere in the squad. Désiré Doué trained with his teammates at the Campus de Poissy, signalling that the midfielder’s return to competition is drawing nearer.
