As the Chicago Fire continue their rebuild under former USMNT boss Gregg Berhalter, they have completed the signing of Ivory Coast international Jonathan Bamba from Celta Vigo.

The 28-year-old Designated Player has made 12 appearances in LaLiga for Celta this season, registering one assist.

The Fire have reportedly doled out $2 million for the winger.


Cucho Hernandez reportedly 'wants to stay' with Columbus Crew

Columbus Crew superstar Cucho Hernandez reportedly wants to stay at the club for the 2025 season amid reports that foreign clubs had been closing in on the attacker.

According to Tom Bogert, the Colombian is angling for a new contract with the Crew though no offer has been made.

Hernandez has bagged a staggering 44 goals and 28 assists in 70 games with the Ohio club.


Alvaro Barreal set to join Santos on loan from FC Cincinnati

FC Cincinnati forward Alvaro Barreal is reportedly set to join Brazilian club Santos, according to MLS insider Tom Bogert.

The 24-year-old has been on the out at Cincinnati since a fracture in his relationship with the club before the 2024 campaign, spending it on loan at Cruzeiro, where he scored two goals and four assists in 28 Série A matches.

According to reports, the deal will include a contract extension with Cincinnati through 2026, while Santos will have an option to purchase the Argentine for $4 million upon the expiry of his loan.


Gent 'in negotiations' to sign NYRB star Dante Vanzeir

Belgian club KAA Gent are in negotiations to sign New York Red Bulls forward Dante Vanzeir.

Gent sporting director Arnar Vidarsson confirmed the news on DAZN Tuesday evening.

The 26-year-old registered six goals and 11 assists in 32 appearances in 2025 as the Red Bulls finished runners up in MLS Cup.


LAFC set to acquire Mark Delgado from rivals LA Galaxy

Galaxy midfielder Mark Delgado is reportedly set to make the move up the 110 to Los Angeles rivals LAFC.

Tom Bogert has reported that the two-time MLS Cup winner will make the move to alleviate impending salary cap issues for the current cup holders.

Delgado is an MLS lifer, the 2025 season will be his 13th in the league, and with his third different team.


Orlando City in 'advanced talks' to sign Marco Pašalić

Orlando City are said to be in 'advanced talks' to sign Croatia international Marco Pašalić from Croatian club HNK Rijeka.

The 24-year-old winger has six goals and three assists in 26 appearances for Rijeka this season.

While no deal is said to be agreed as of yet, Orlando do have money to spend after selling Facundo Torres to Palmeiras for up to $14 million this summer.


Austin FC complete signing of Besard Sabovic

Austin FC have completed the signing of Swedish midfielder Besard Sabovic, signing the 27-year-old in on a free transfer after leaving Djurgårdens.

Sabovic is Austin's third midfield addition this winter, following moves for Ilie Sánchez and Nicolás Dubersarsky. The Texas club have also spent big money on attackers Osman Bukari (in the summer window), and Brandon Vazquez as they look to retool under new head coach Nico Estévez.


Real Salt Lake complete signing of veteran keeper Rafael Cabral

RSL have completed the signing of 34-year-old shot-stopper Rafael Cabral on a free transfer.

The Brazilian will sign a one-year contract with an option for a second year.

Cabral most recently played with Grêmio, where he made six Série A appearances.
