According to L'Équipe, Malick Fofana has resumed group training with Lyon but is not yet ready to return to the matchday squad, with Paulo De Fonseca pointing to a lack of rhythm.
The 20-year-old Belgian winger rejoined collective sessions at the start of the month after a serious right-ankle sprain sustained in late October. He featured in several club posts on Monday.
His comeback is being managed step by step, based on how he feels. Although back on the ball with his team-mates in recent days, he has not yet been named in a matchday group.
After the 1-1 draw with Paris FC on Sunday night, De Fonseca said the international break could help bring players back, adding that Afonso and Pavel might return sooner than Fofana. He indicated Fofana would resume with the group next week, but warned it would be difficult given his lack of match sharpness, while referencing the end of March.
That outlook suggests Fofana is unlikely to travel to Le Havre on 15 March. He also looks doubtful for the Europa League round of 16 ties with Celta Vigo on Thursdays 12 and 19 March.
