According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City want Marseille’s Argentina-capped goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli to replace James Trafford, who is closing in on a Leeds United move.
Leeds are on the verge of breaking their transfer record to land Trafford as their new first-choice keeper, in a package set to be worth £40m plus add-ons.

City signed Trafford from Burnley last summer. The arrival of Gianluigi Donnarumma left him as the club’s second-choice keeper.
Trafford’s expected departure would leave City seeking a back-up option. The report adds that Rulli, 34, is keen on the move.
Marseille are said to be aware of City’s interest.
